John Tsoras - CPO, LPO

John Tsoras joined the Medical Express team just over year ago bringing with him over 15 years of Orthotic and Prosthetic experience. John is a graduate of Ohio State University in which he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psycology. John then went on to receive a graduate level education in both Prosthetics and Orthotics from Northwestern University. John is passionate about patient treatment and will often go above and beyond what is asked of him to ensue proper patient treatment. John is certified in many of the latest prosthetic technologies on the market today and is not shy to answer patient questions, and go the extra mile for patient satisfaction. John is considered by his peers to be a leader in prosthetic treatment, and education as he is a peer advisor for residents in prosthetics and orthotics. John takes the time with the patient to insure proper fit of a brace or prosthesis, and makes sure they understand the proper way to use the brace.
David Telford - CPO, LPO
ABC Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist
President of Texas Chapter of the American Academy of Orthotist and Prosthetist
David Telford joined the Medical Express team a little less than a year ago bringing in 17 years of Orthotic and Prosthetic experience. David is a graduate of the University of Texas – Southwestern Medical School in which he received a Bachelor’s of Science in Orthotics and Prosthetics. He currently resides as the president of the Texas Chapter of the American Academy of Orthotist and Prosthetist, and brings a wealth of knowledge. David is known to be a great people person and often is able to fit “difficult” patients. He serves as an educational liaison for the company’s residency program. David is not shy about teaching, and is very committed to sharing his experience and knowledge with his students.
Tracey Nix - LO, RHIA
Texas Licensed Orthotist, Registered Health Information Administrator
Tracey Nix carries a double post grad in Orthotics and Prosthetics from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She has been Licensed by the State of Texas in Orthotics since 2005 and is currently pursuing her Prosthetic certification and licensure. As a Registered Health Information Administrator, she began her O&P career in 2001 here in Austin, TX. She has built her reputation and foundation on strong interpersonal and professional relationships within the rehabilitative industry.

Dustin Junek - Resident Prosthetist
NCOPE Resident, Licensed Student (State of Texas)
Dustin Junek joins the Medical Express team fresh out of Prosthetic School from Northwestern University. Dustin is a graduate of Texas State University receiving a Bachelor’s of Exercise Sports Science. He has had the privilege of being the first resident of Medical Express and has made impressive strides towards becoming a Certified Prosthetist. He brings a “new school” approach to prosthetic treatment. Dustin has the ability to connect with patients on a personal level in which he can sit and listen to problems, and often has a quick solution. Dustin is considered to be the new kid on the block, and at 24 years young he is already making strides to becoming a seasoned veteran in the field of prosthetics.
Laura Ramsower - Prosthetic Practitioner, MSBME, CPP
Laura earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University, a Master of Science degree in Biomechanical Engineering from Drexel University and a Prosthetic Practitioner Certification from Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine. Most recently, Laura worked for Hanger Prosthetics and Orthotics and, prior to Hanger, worked as a product development engineer for a medical device company, designing spinal and orthopedic implants and surgical instruments. In addition to her professional experience, she has also researched shoe structures and its effect on gait and biomechanical foot function, as well as the development of new materials for use in the orthotics and prosthetics industry. Laura combines her experiences from both the engineering and clinical settings to design the most functional device for each individual patient, while also striving to build strong personal relationships with those patients and fellow clinicians.
Lin Robinson - Orthotist, CO, LO
Lin Robinson joins the Medical Express team bringing with him over 30 years of Orthotic experience. Lin started his professional career as an Orthotist in the early 1970's working as a Brace Specialist at the Brook Army Military Hospital. Lin then went to continue his Orthotic education at Ft. Sam Houston, TX and Darrel Army Hospital in Killeen, TX where he began working as an Orthotist. Lin then moved on and served as an Orthotist for six years at the Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas. The Medical Express team is pleased to have Lin's experience from working at the Veteran Administrations Hospital as well as owning his own company. Lin has been a teacher, mentor, and inspiration to many residents and students alike. Lin enjoys fly fishing, hiking, traveling, and volunteering with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services in his spare time.
Monica Rogers - CO, LO
Monica Rogers joined the Medical Express team in November of 2010 and brings with her almost 13 years of experience in Orthotics. She is a native of New York and graduated from SUNY at Stony Brook with a Bachelor's degree in Biology. She then went on to graduate from Northwestern University's Orthotic program. Monica brings with her many years of pediatric orthotic experience after attending several specialty clinics at a children's hospital in NY. These included Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Muscular Dystrophy and Scoliosis clinics. She then moved to Houston where she worked several years in a fast paced environment to meet the needs of patients in acute care hospitals. Monica takes pride in her work when treating her patients and takes the time to assure all of her patients needs have been met. Her being bilingual to our spanish speaking only clients allows her the ability to effectively communicate with these patients to ensure all patients are at ease with the care they are receiving. Monica is excited to bring her years of experience to Medical Express and is looking forward to building new relationships with each and every patient.
Carlos Guerra, CPO, LPO
ABC and Texas Licensed Prosthetist and Orthotist
Carlos is one of the most recent additions to the Medical Express PSI O and P team. He is a graduate of The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. He completed his orthotic residency at Southwestern and prosthetic residency at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. He has been an amputee since 1 year of age and has personally experienced the advancements in the industry. He treats his patients with the same compassion and empathy that he experienced throughout his life. Carlos is a strong supporter of education and is constantly trying to further his knowledge in prosthetics and orthotics. In his spare time, he enjoys watching football and fishing.
Tom Glidewell, LO, LPA
Thomas (Tom) Glidewell is our lead Orthotist in Tyler. Graduated from Brookhaven Collage in Dallas. A Texas Licensed Orthotist as well as a Texas Licensed Prosthetist Assistant. He takes his tasks seriously and with 16 years in the O&P field he believes in making patient care the top priority. Tom is very excited to be a part of Medical Express PSI team serving the folks in East Texas.
Jason Riffle - CP, LP
Prosthetist Jason Riffle started with MedX in Dec of 2010. Mr. Riffle is the lead prosthetist for MedX Tyler TX office. Mr. Riffle has 20 plus years of experience and is regarded as an expert when it comes to fitting the latest technology in prosthetics. Jason is also recognized for his ability to fit "difficult patients" that have been unsatisfied elsewhere. Jason Riffle is an ABC Certified practitioner, is licensed by both Texas and Oklahoma board of orthotics and prosthetics, and has been certified by the BOC.
Peter Voorhees, CPO LPO
ABC Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist
Peter joined the Medical Express team in December 2010, and brings 24 years of experience to his Corpus Christi practice. He is a 1987 graduate of the University of Texas-Southwestern and has earned his bachelor's degree in orthotics and prosthetics. Besides providing orthotics and prosthetic devices, he is also involved in wound care, providing off-loading devices to heal plantar surface diabetic ulcers and the fitting of custom molded insert and diabetic shoes.
